A circus to behold
No. Ten was the full swing into exploring this new paradigm.
I executed it with such exuberance,
it really just happened.

After the initial layout was done I then proceeded intuitively,
being guided by the painting;
wanting it to be visually fun,
an explosion of colour.

I want to see sideways

It was the photos that enabled me to see sideways.
Seeing the exaggerated distortion in 2 dimensions

Marching jars
More animated, filled with movement;
hovering, dancing, marching across the canvas
then suddenly halted by this border where the suspended lands into a solid plane.
No. Twelve inadvertently harkens to my childhood, those 1970's styles:
'bellbottoms and avacado bathroom suites'
that groovy mixing of colours and shapes.

A different drum
What happens next is a diversion that
somehow still belongs within this field of jumbled jars...
but is a step in a different direction.

A stylistic departure that took me by surprise...
